Our family has always had a
passion for animals and as a family we have been involved with various bully breeds by either
showing, judging, training or breeding since 1987.

Around 1989 we became very interested in rare dog breeds,
specifically rare
Bulldogs and Bulldogges. It was at that time that we began studying and researching several breeds
such as the American Bulldog, Olde English Bulldogge,
Olde Boston Bulldogge and the various "Miniature Bulldogs" being
bred. We ended up owning examples of each of
those breeds but always wanted a smaller sized or Miniature
Bulldog.
Early in 1992 we
began searching specifically for some sort of Miniature Bulldog and
began researching various other rare bully breeds, our first discovery
was the Olde Boston Bulldogge. We began speaking to the
founder of the Olde Boston Bulldogge breed and although we found
the breed very interesting it wasn't exactly what we were
looking for.
In 1992 we decided to do several foundational breedings with
smaller bully breeds and began creating our own line
of bantam sized Miniature Bulldogs.
With these first
breedings we got our chance to own our first
foundational English Bantam Bulldogges and we instantly fell in love.
This was the beginning of our future and current Bantam Bulldogge
breeding program.
Although very bully and similar in appearance, our Bantam Bulldogges are not Miniature English Bulldogs
or Miniature Bulldogs but rather
a much healthier, more active and far superior alternative to
those so called Mini Bulldogs.
In short the
Bantam Bulldogge is a rare Bulldog breed that was first recognized and
registered by its parent registry, the
United Canine Association
(UCA). The Bantam Bulldogge
has since been been recognized and allowed registration by the
world's leading registry for rare and alternative bully breeds,
the
International Olde English Bulldogge Association
(IOEBA).
Today the Bantam Bulldogge is enjoying an explosion of
popularity worldwide. The increased interest in the Bantam
Bulldogge breed over the last several years is due in part to the public
becoming more aware of this incredible
bantam sized Bulldog and its improved health and the breed's convenient and
manageable size.
The original Toy Bulldog of Olde (Miniature Bulldog) was a
healthier, structurally correct Miniature Bulldog referred to
historically as the "Toy Bulldog" that shared
many of the same characteristic of today's Bantam Bulldogge.
Micro Bullies is
committed to advancing the Bantam Bulldogge as a breed and we
believe that through thoughtful selective breeding, health
screening, hard work and dedication that the Bantam Bulldogge of
today can be be a wonderful example of the historical Toy Bulldog of Olde.
Micro Bullies has over 25 years of passionate expertise of
breeding bully breeds and the priorities of our breeding program
are simple. We are committed to applying our proven 25 plus years
of experience and knowledge to producing Bantam Bulldogges that
possess a temperament that allows them to excel as wonderful
family companions, that exhibit correct structure per the

official
Bantam Bulldogge's
Breed Standards
set forth and created by the United Canine Association
and the International Olde English Bulldogge Association.
